Steam Train Excursion
Pre-convention Tuesday, Sept. 4, we have arranged for a private charter train pulled by former Duluth & Northeastern and Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range 2-8-0 #28. Business car Northland will highlight the consist of vintage heavyweight cars for a complete 1920’s experience.

Lake Superior Railroad Museum
Home base for the North Shore Scenic Railroad operating the excursion described above. The museum is located in the depot and train shed of the Duluth Union Depot, with an excellent collection of well-preserved equipment common to Minnesota ranging from early classics to a massive DM&IR 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone.
